Provident Community Bank's commitment to protect your information and your privacy
extends to your online banking. While our privacy policies are the same, whether
you are online or not, we have extra measures in place to protect your privacy when
you bank online with us.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

All personal information collected and stored by the bank is used for specific business
purposes, to protect and administer your personal accounts and transactions, and
to comply with the state and federal banking regulations. Collection of personal
information online is designed to assist the bank in providing you with the products
and services you want and need.

Cookies

If you use our Online Banking or BillPay programs you may receive "cookies" which
contain your unique identifier, allowing you to view and manage your accounts. These
cookies may be linked to personally identifiable information. "Cookies" are messages
a web server (i.e. webpage) gives to a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer software)
that contain information that is stored on the customer's computer and sent back
to the server when the customer's browser requests pages from the server. "Cookies"
are used for example in providing customer convenience by storing passwords and
logon IDs so customers do not have to enter the information every time, to customize
pages for the customer based on information contained in the "cookie", and to track
customer activity on the Web Site for later use in providing good customer service
and new products. Making the appropriate selection from your browser options can
disable "cookies". However, please understand that certain services provided by
The Bank such as Online Banking, or our Bill Pay program may require "cookies" for
effective delivery of the program. The Bank will treat all "cookie" information
confidentially and will use only as allowed by law, as stated in our Privacy Policy,
or as authorized by you. Employing stringent security measures in the collection
of your personal information, Provident Community Bank's online application utilizes
encryption via a security protocol called a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Implementation
of the SSL security protocol on the Web server and customer browser ensures authenticated
data has been received from the client. In addition, firewall technology is in place
to provide further access controls.

Children's Online Privacy Protection

The online financial services offered through the Bank's website are not designed
for or directed toward children under age 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect
data from children and we do not knowingly market to children online without express
parental consent or notification. If we receive online information from any child
we will use the information to respond directly to a child's request. We recognize
that protecting children's identities and online privacy is important and that responsibility
rests with us and with parents. If you believe your child has provided personally
